A tailored solution to expand your cotton tent.
Kari Diamond 10 is shaped differently than a regular square tarp, thus offering a diamond-shaped design to fit the entrance of Nordisk Legacy tents like the Asgard teepee family. Attaching this tarp to the entrance of Asgard offers extra external space and protection against strong sunlight and rain to your tent – and if you use the covered outside area for storage of empty rucksaks and dirty footwear, you will also help improve the sleeping environment inside the tent. Kari Diamond can also be used stand-alone by attaching it to a tree or the like – or you can use the enclosed poles, pegs and guylines for setting it up.
God of the Wind
Kari (Kári) is a term for wind and was in ancient Norse mythology personified by Kári, who was the heir to his father Fornjót’s kingdoms, making him the ruler of Finland and Kvenland. Kári is the father of Frosti (‘frost’), or elsewhere named Jökul, which means ‘icicle, ice, glacier’ – and the grandfather of Snær the Old (Snærr inn gamli’), meaning ‘Snow the Old’.
