Exped Dyneema tentcord

Dyneema Tentcord.

Guylines developed by Exped, are ultralight and static with a tear force of 400 lbs/180 kg. This prevents the cord from stretching and tearing in high winds which otherwise leads to flapping of the fly and structure and ultimately to fracture of the poles.

• The guylines have a Dyneema core and polyester mantle. Dyneema is 15x stronger than steel and 40% stronger than Kevlar of the same weight.
• extremely UV resistant
• A reflective thread has been spun into the mantle for visibility in the dark.
• Rip strength: 140 kg
• Sheaths and cores can be separatedto increase usable length.
