The completely re-developed forged kitchen knives by Böker combine innovative and dynamic design with a classic selection of premium quality materials.
The traditional Boker knife manufactory, long proven in the development of outdoor knives, has incorporated that experience into the design of the Boker Forge series in order to achieve perfect function combined with a timeless beauty.
Striking is the attractive lines that clearly distinguishes the diameter of the mass of the conventional kitchen knives without being too eccentric. The blade geometry, as well as the dynamic and function-oriented design of the double goitre guarantee in connection with the flat cut and the razor-sharp deduction for pure cutting pleasure in applying.
The out of the chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel "X50CrMoV15" forged knives are perfectly balanced and lie by the ergonomic handle design perfectly in your hand. Handles made of high-quality maple traditionally associated with three stainless steel rivets permanently and without joints to the fully continuous tang. The design of the blades, including the transition to the bolster allows for easy resharpening and guarantees in combination with proper maintenance (please knives only by hand wash and do not clean in the dishwasher!) A long term perfect function of the cutter.
The German test magazine "Stiftung Warentest" tested 12 classic chef's knifes, 5 Santoku and 3 ceramic knives in the December 2014 edition. Out of the 12 classic kitchen knives 2 models lead the list with the evaluation GOOD (1.8). One of these is the Boker Forge chef knife!
